With all the change we are seeing in the digital world, it is quite significant that entrepreneurs keep up and rethink their business strategies. They not only need to rethink but implement these strategies, of course with the aim to not only grow but have a trademark in the business world, come the new year. Here are the top five business trends in the new year.
1.E-Commerce. It has already taken the digital and business world by storm already. However according to All Business we are to see more of this trend in the new year. E-Commerce has taken shape in the business world through selling products online. To think of it, when are you hearing more conversation of someone literally buying stuff at the stores? That’s old news as people are buying more things online. This is too convenient for the consumer’s safety at the comfort of their home, and business owners get to save more as the investment is online. Businesses such as Amazon, Take a lot and many more have started the trend already.
2.Remote working. Due to the pandemic we have seen lots of people working from work. Of course remote working has its own backlash. Business owners have to make sure its employees are not taking advantage of the perks of being work but ‘’actually being productive’’. However, it’s still evident that this trend is to be seen even in the new year. Of course it has its perks for both the business and employees. A flexible working environment, balancing life and work and giving owners a time to engage in digital productivity and other things. More of this is to be seen in 2022.
3.I have seen people countless times using their digital watches (Touch free technology) to make payments. Such an interest and necessity for all businesses to have, if not most. If this is not the case, there is a slight chance of losing customers. Customers are all about feeling accommodated. All Business does suggest to at least have one cashless payment to allow a sense of variety and loyalty to customers. Of course this has also been introduced already, however more cashless payments are here to stay.
4.Mike Keppel , CEO of Patriot Software, LLC with over 30 years entrepreneurial experience in one of his articles writes how Video marketing is essential because based on stats 84 percent of people suggest they were motivated by video marketing to buy the product .54 percent of consumers want to see more videos from a brand and business they support. This clearly indicated businesses who are not up with the trend, need to as it draws more consumers.
5.Frelance workers. Freelance workers, of course due to the pandemic, have taken quite a chunk of space in the business environment. This is a win-win situation because not only are they giving their expertise and gaining experience but the business doesn’t spend much on hiring full time and unnecessary expenditure. This is to be seen more in 2022.
It’s quite clear that the digital world has evolved and we have seen that play out in the business world.
