The Cell C Inanda Africa Cup officially took place on Sunday with nothing but class and sophistication. Influencers, A-listers and distinguished guests were brought together to the premium event, with a taste for fashion, delectable dining experiences followed by an action filled game of polo to witness the crowning of the 2022 Inanda African Cup. This year’s tournament was nothing short of just the boost we all needed after two years of tedium and COVID-19 resetting most businesses and events, the return of the is picturesque Inanda Club, situated in the heart of Sandton, where the influential polo set an absolute experience a high-octane polo demonstration of talent and horse power in the dual for the coveted trophy.

With this year’s Cell C theme being “AFRICA NOW” it delivered record-breaking chills, outfits were nothing short of mesmerizing – chic, colorful, loud– as to be expected at a polo event and an opportunity to taste the new Tanqueray Royale Gin.

Polo has always been known as a spectator sport for equestrians and high society, however with Cell C’s support, it is now accessible to all. The Cell C Inanda Africa Cup brought a luxe experience with its Africa Now theme celebrating Africa’s elite fashion and social experiences in the 21st century. The event invited patrons from all walks of life to enjoy unique experiences tailored to perfection where Guests were whisked away with upbeat sounds from Mzansi’s much loved DJs, while soaking up the winter sun, enjoying a delicious cocktail courtesy of Tanqueray or drink of choice and, of course, whilst enjoying the sport of polo and its well-known traditions such as divot stomping.

We can only imagine what the 2023 Polo will offer us!
