From being appointed as the CFO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies in 2021 to being nominated in the CFO awards in 2022, we look at a career spanning over 20 years of Sandile Nstele.
Sandile is a qualified Chartered Accountant in South Africa and is a member of the South Africa Institute of Chartered Accountants. He holds a BAcc Honours from UNISA and a BCom Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. In his younger years he was a trainee accountant at Deloitte from 1995 to 1998 and moved to be a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Group Financial Controller at MTN. From 2004 to 2005 Sandile can be seen as a Senior Manager of Financial Operations: Sales & Distribution in MTN Nigeria and later advanced his career by coming CFO of MTN Zambia in 2005 and CFO of MTN Cameroon in 2012.
Sandile came back to South Africa in 2015 when he became the CFO of MTN SA, with his most recent big move being appointed as the CFO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies in April 2021 and whilst holding this position, he was nominated for the 2022 CFO Awards. He has worked in various African and Middle East markets, and his experience has led him to become an asset to any company he affiliates with.
Prior to this, he served as a corporate financial accountant in 1998. Sandile was a trainee accountant at Deloitte from 1995 to 1998. He has also served on various boards and management committees throughout his career. A qualified CA(SA), he holds a BAcc Hons from UNISA and a BCom Hons from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Sandile has been nominated for the 2022 CFO Awards for his work as the CFO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies.
